Cost of GRE Exam in Nigeria

Students that want to apply to foreign universities for graduate programs need to take this exam. It is also a requirement if you will access a merit-based scholarship for your graduate studies.
The question that most students like you ask is, “what is the cost of the GRE exam in Nigeria?” After much digging, we have come up with the answer to this question.
- GRE Exam Fee: N70,000
Note that you will be required to pay an extra fee if you will like to change your GRE test centre. The same applies if you want to reschedule your test date and time. If you have to reschedule or cancel your GRE exam, you should do it at least four days before the test date. Failure to do this means that you will forfeit the exam fee.
- GRE Exam Rescheduling Fee: $50
- Subject Change Fee: $50
- Late Registration Fee: $40
- Standby Testing: $25

GRE Exam Eligibility Criteria
Wondering what the qualification is to write the GRE exam in Nigeria? The truth is that there are no specific criteria for this exam. People of all ages and qualifications can write this exam. However, you must note that you will be required to provide a valid means of identification, preferably, your international passport. As such, you need to get your international passport before you register for the GRE examination.
While the ETS did not announce any specific educational qualifications, there are a few expectations. One of them is that anyone planning to write this exam should at least have a graduate degree. This degree can be in any discipline and should be from a recognized university.
GRE Exam Pattern in Nigeria
This exam is split into three sections,
- Analytical writing (always the first part of the exam).
- Quantitative reasoning.
- Verbal reasoning.
