Body and Design

The Galaxy A40 is one of the most beautiful and classy in the A series in terms of design. The glass back shows lovely effects depending on the color you have decided to go for. For instance, when you move the white model, it sparkles in all multi-colored colors. While the blue, black, and coral models also shine some light reflections, although they are not as spectacular as the white.


The Galaxy A40 is the coolest to hold in one hand as it is the shortest and slimmest smartphone of the series. It measures 144.3 x 69.0 x 7.9 mm and has a 5.9-inch Full HD+ (1080 x 2220) display with a Super AMOLED panel.

Display

As a unique feature in the inexpensive mid-range series, Samsung uses an AMOLED display of most of the smartphone in the A-series. The Galaxy A40 is no exemption here and also features a decent 2340 x 1080 pixels, which relates to a somewhat expanded Full HD resolution.

Operating System and Processor

The smartphone features an Exynos 7884 chipset that is boosted by a lovely 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 512 GB with a dedicated microSD card slot. The smartphone allows for dual SIM and a microSD card at the same time.

Amazingly, there is an option of FM radio, and NFC as well as the latest Bluetooth version in Bluetooth 5.0. The USB connection allows data to be transferred at only USB-2.0 speed. Camera
