How to Recharge On Smile
As you would have noticed from the tables above, there is no activation code for any of the plans. This is very different from what is obtainable with other mobile networks. Smile Communications want their customers to enjoy a seamless experience and have come up with several ways to recharge and activate the different data plans. Some of the different methods include:
- Using the MySmile app. simply download this app to your mobile phone and sign in using your SmileNumber or username and passcode. Follow the instructions on the app to purchase any of the data bundles you prefer.
- Visit the MySmile portal. Open the Smile official website and click on the MySmile portal link then click “Login.” Go through the different data bundles and select the one that you prefer. You can then make your payment using a MasterCard, VISA, or Verve card.
- Internet banking. You can subscribe to any of the data plans by paying through your bank. For now, Smile Communications accepts payments from the following platforms:
- Access Bank internet banking
- Ecobank internet banking
- FCMB internet banking
- First Bank internet banking
- GTBank internet banking
- PayInstantly
- Paga online payment
- Quickteller online payment
- UnifiedPayment online payment
- JumiaPay
- Mobile app. If you have a mobile app, you can use this platform to make payments for any of the data bundles. Note that Smile doesn’t accept payment from all mobile bank apps. The acceptable apps include:
