Infinix Note 10 Review

There is so much to love about the Infinix Note 10. From its design to its display, its cameras to its hardware and software. In this section, we will discuss each of these properties that make this smartphone so cool. Let’s check them out.

Display and Design

This Infinix is built on the design of the Infinix Note 8 to create that of Note 10. With this, the company offers its users a tweaked but very attractive design. Already, Note 8 has a very attractive design. So you can imagine how good the Note 10 will look.

One of the most attractive aspects of the design of this smartphone is the rear cover. This part of the smartphone comes with a dual-tone colour scheme. It is very similar to what you have on the Galaxy Quantum from Samsung. If you love colours then the Note 10 will appeal to you. It comes in three different colours including Green, Blue, and Gray.

Asides from the colour of the rear panel, the arrangement of the components here are impeccable. The triple cameras, the LED flash, and the rest of the camera module are arranged with such skill. No wonder you’d get enchanted with one look at this device.

If the rear view is impeccable, the front view is immaculate. It has a 6.95-inch IPS LCD and a dot notch sitting at the top centre of the front view of the device. Asides from these, there are several other highlights of the display of Note 10. They have a 180Hz refresh rate, 387 PPI density, and 1080 x 2460 pixel resolution.

The Cameras

People can hardly do without cameras these days mostly because of social media. When purchasing a new smartphone, one of the factors that you should consider is the camera quality. Infinix has considered this and put in a lot of effort to ensure that the cameras on Note 10 are top-notch.

The Infinix Note 10 has both rear and front cameras. Interestingly, there isn’t so much of an upgrade on what you have in Note 8 in terms of camera quality. As a matter of fact, we even think that the primary or main camera has lost some pixels.

Note 8 comes with a 64-megapixel camera. Instead of an upgrade, Note 10 comes with a 48-megapixel camera, which is 16 megapixels less. This doesn’t mean that the camera is poor since many smartphones don’t even have cameras of this quality.

The device also comes with a depth camera and macro camera, both of 2 megapixels each. Again, there is a downgrade here. In Note 8, you have 4 rear cameras while in Note 10, there are just 3 rear cameras.

The selfie or front camera of the Infinix Note 10 is pretty the same as that on Note 8. Both devices feature 16-megapixel front cameras. Even though there is no significant upgrade, this camera is pretty cool for selfies and shooting videos.

Software and Hardware

What the Note 10 doesn’t have in cameras, it makes up for in performance. The device comes with a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. This is different from the Helio G80 chipset that you have on its predecessor, the Note 8.

Another aspect where there is a major upgrade on this device is the storage and RAM configurations. It comes in two different variants, 128GB internal storage and 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and 4GB RAM. With both, you are assured of high-quality delivery without issues in running apps on the device. The device runs on Android 11 via the XOS7.6 interface.

Battery and Connectivity

Battery life is a big deal with people on this side of the world because of the issues with the power supply. Infinix understands this and has put a 5000mAh battery into this device. The battery is non-removable and comes with the 18-watt fast-charge feature.

This device comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as OTG support, Wi-Fi, and a Type-C USB port. Also, this device features a low-energy 5.0 Bluetooth and 4G internet connectivity.
