Infinix Zero Ultra Review

Without seeing the Infinix Zero Ultra, when you hear about the price, it may be mind-boggling, especially for a middle-class earner in Nigeria. However, when you get acquainted with its features and what this device can do, you will agree that it is worth every naira spent. Of course, the device is not, however, it delivers a lot of value to the user.

We have checked this device and read reviews from other users to put together our thoughts about it. Read our brief review of the Infinix Zero Ultra below:

Design Quality

Infinix takes a unique approach to the design of the Zero Ultra. The Genesis Noir variant of this device stands proud as it comes with a mind-blowing blend of leather and glass on the rear panel. You are likely to fall in love with the device once you get used to it. Because of the leather-based texture, the device seems to be quite grippy. On the other hand, the glossy glass part gives the device a premium shiny look. The only problem with this is that it is a fingerprint magnet.

Another variant that catches the eye is the Coslight Silver Variant. It has a star trail design featuring curved glass on the rear cover and in front. Add this to the premium vibe that the Infinix Zero Ultra exudes, and you have an amazing device on your hands.

The device features a huge camera module sitting on the rear that is made up of three sensors as well as a LED flash all embedded in a rectangular box. When it comes to grille placement and ports, this smartphone is equipped with a top-facing speaker and a secondary microphone. At the bottom, there is a primary microphone, a slot for two SIM cards, a Type-C port, and a firing speaker. On the right side of the frame, you have the volume rocker ad the neon green stripe power button.

This device is a beauty to behold. The only downside for us is the weight of the Infinix Zero Ultra. It weighs 213 grams, which is quite heavy, and takes some time to get used to.

Charging

Infinix claims that the Zero Ultra is equipped with a feature known as “Thundercharge.” This is how the company has been marketing this device’s 180W charging prowess. However, this can be a source of worry, but the company declares it safe because it has put in place several security protection mechanisms in the hardware and an array of software.

The battery is split into cells within the smartphone. Each of these cells holds 2250 mAh of charge. This results in a total capacity of 4500 mAh. Enabling the fusion mode allows the device to charge from 5% to 100% in just 12 minutes. That’s ultrafast, but it results in the heating up of the device, which may not be too good. Your best bet may be to stick to the standard charging mode.

Display

The Infinix Zero Ultra comes with a large 6.8 inches AMOLED display equipped with the resolution of a full HD+ screen. It also has a curved display that gives the device a very stylish look. So far, Infinix has not mentioned anything regarding the details of this device’s body-to-scree ratio.

This device comes with a screen refresh rate of 120 Hz, even though you can decide to stick to 60 Hz or 90 Hz if you prefer. If you are keen on saving battery life and still enjoying a good smartphone experience, the
