ABUAD Other Fees

In addition to the tuition fee, students have to pay other fees as well. These are:

Acceptance fee

Newly admitted students pay this fee once to accept their admission offer. The acceptance fee for the 2022/2023 academic session was ₦200,000.

Accommodation fee

This fee is for students who want to stay on campus. The accommodation fee depends on the type of accommodation the student chooses. For the 2022/2023 academic session, the accommodation fee was between ₦300,000 and ₦1,500,000.

Feeding fee

This fee is for students who stay on campus. For the 2022/2023 academic session, the feeding fee was ₦400,000.

Medical fee

This fee is for the medical services that the university’s medical center offers. The medical fee for the 2022/2023 academic session was ₦25,000.

Development fee

All students pay this fee every year, and it is used for the university’s development projects. The development fee for the 2022/2023 academic session was ₦150,000.

Examination fee

Students pay this fee to write examinations. The examination fee for the 2022/2023 academic session was ₦25,000.

Library fee

Students pay this fee to use the university’s library facilities. The library fee for the 2022/2023 academic session was ₦25,000.

ABUAD Payment Plans

To make fee payment easier for students and their parents, the university offers different payment plans. The payment plans are:

One-time payment

This means paying the full fees for the whole academic session at the start of the session.

Part payment

This means paying a part of the fees at the start of the session and paying the rest in instalments during the session.

Installment payments

This means paying the fees in equal instalments during the session.
